This use of the two-storey structure known as the Lighthouse, in front of the Oysterfleet public house, has puzzled many people.
This use of the two-storey structure known as the Lighthouse, in front of the Oysterfleet public house, has puzzled many people. It appears that it was built by an eccentric Captain Gregson as a home for his mother-in-law, in order to keep her out of his house! Sadly, the building has been demolished to make way for development.
