Hester's Tower
Standing 50ft. high at the entrance to the Winter Gardens. Hester's tower supported the show bungalow, where he would interview potential purchasers of his land. After his bankruptcy in 1905, the show bungalow was sold to a gentleman from London for his garden. The tower was declared unsafe, and on inspection it became apparent that local residents had removed sections of it for firewood; it was demolished in 1909.
